Hours after her private letter to KCR surfaced, creating a political storm in Telangana, MLC K Kavitha on Friday questioned how the letter to her father, who is also the BRS chief, was leaked in public. She claimed that while KCR was “god”, he was surrounded by “devils” who were damaging the party from within.
Calling the leak a “conspiracy”, she said that in the letter she had only expressed in words what others in the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the state think.
Her remarks came after a six-page letter dated May 2 surfaced, in which she expressed deep frustration with the party leadership’s strategy. In the letter, she had accused her father of barely criticising the BJP during the party’s 25th Foundation Day meeting in Warangal. The personal letter was written after the Warangal public meeting and was never meant for public circulation.
