After BJP’s decisive victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, speculations are growing about the possibility of a woman Chief Minister leading the national capital.
BJP scored a thumping victory in the Delhi election with 48 out of 70 seats, ending the AAP’s decade-long rule in the capital. Sources said that the next Chief Minister will be from among the MLAs.
They added that the saffron party is looking to explore the option of appointing a Deputy Chief Minister from an under-represented background. The new cabinet could also witness a strong representation of women and Dalits, reported India Today.
